Residential building Saarbrücken

The OPUS 25 project offers high-quality with 35 residential units ranging from 40 m² to 100 m² in Saarbrücken city centre. The project is characterised by its commitment to envioronmental protection and sustainability. The unique and innovative energy concept involves the thermal activation of the surrounding sandstone. During summer, solar heat and waste heat from cooling are stored in a geothermal storage system built in a former bunker and reused for heating in the winter. The integrated geothermal heat pumps and high-performance thermal collectors complete the BES system.
